Baroque Mosaics: The Columbian Consort Faculty Ensemble, Introducing Charles Humphries

Escape to the 18th century with a concert of drama, lost love, celebration, comedy and even the supernatural, performed by talented faculty members of the GW Department of Music. Baroque Mosaics, performed by the Columbian Consort Faculty Ensemble, treats audience members to an evening of Baroque music from period greats Purcell, Handel and Vivaldi.

The Columbian Consort Faculty ensemble includes: MARY FINDLEY, violin; LORI BARNET, cello; JOE GASCHO, keyboards; and our newest faculty member, renowned counter-tenor CHARLES HUMPHRIES. Baroque Mosaics will also include guest artists DAVID McCORMICK, violin; LESLIE NERO, viola; and BILLY SIMMS, theorbo.
